The Board



Heather Price: CEO

Heather began her career in Human Resources in South Africa in 1990, where she established a consultancy specialising in diversity management - recently nominated as one of the leading Human Resource consultancies in Southern Africa. She opened the doors of Diversity Consulting in the Asia Pacific region with its Head office in Australia in 2003 specialising in the provision of a wide range of diversity and equity products and services.

Heather has many publications to her name, was invited as a guest of the Diversity Collegium (a think tank of 100 Diversity experts around the world) to their gathering in Washington 2004, and has presented papers on diversity at international conferences in the USA, Italy and at the World Human Resource Congress in Singapore (2006). Heather also initiated the production of a 21-part TV quiz show series on cross-cultural communication called "What's the Difference?" broadcast on National television throughout South Africa.

She is providing a consulting service on diversity policy and strategy, communication and engagement to numerous clients in both the public and private sector in the Australia. She designs diversity workshops for executives, graduates, managers & Diversity Councils which are being implemented in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, SIngapore, Chile, and South Africa and has been engaged to conduct Diversity events for the CEO's and their top teams of numerous blue-chip companies such as ANZ, Westpac NZ, IAG, AGL, National Bank, Carter Holt Harvey, Motorola, Shell, etc.

Robert Gavshon: Chairman

Robert has been a significant shareholder in, and served as a director of a number of companies including Deputy Chairman of the Board of Barbeques Galore Ltd, a NASDAQ listed company until its recent sale to a leading Australian private equity group. He also served as non-executive Director and founder of Rebel Sport, the largest sporting goods retailer in Australia and New Zealand. Robert acted as Group General Counsel and Director of Corporate Affairs for a multi-national corporation based in Sydney and was a partner in one of South Africa's largest law firms.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Oporto Holdings, Amadeus Education Holdings, Netti and Diversity Consulting. He is the CEO of Chester Capital Pty Ltd, part of an international finance and private equity group. Robert has extensive community involvement, occupying leading positions in Australian community organisations, particularly in the education sector.

Errol Price: Director - Legal

Errol qualified with a BA, LLB and MBA, practiced as a barrister for 26 years in South Africa simultaneous to acting as advisor and consultant to top companies on equity, discrimination and workplace relations issues.On relocating to Sydney, he was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia.

As Director (Legal) of Diversity Consulting he has applied his extensive experience to formulate human resource and workplace relations policies for multinational and blue-chip companies in the Asia Pacific region. He has also conducted training programmes and workshops to assist managers in the implementation of strategies for combating discrimination and harassment in the workplace.

Errol is head of research for the legal content of the Diversity Game, the Diversity Challenge and all Discrimination service offerings of Diversity Consulting.

Milton Levine: Non-Executive Director

Milton has served as Chairman and a director of a number of listed and unlisted companies in South Africa and the United Kingdom. In South Africa these include Chester Investment Holdings Limited, Chet Industries Limited and Anglo Cape Confirming Pty Limited.

Milton was previously Chairman of Reichmans Limited (Executive) and Brandcorp Holdings Limited (non Executive). In London, Milton is a director of Chesterfin Limited and Richmond Pharmacology Limited. He is an attorney by profession and has spent most of his business career in trade finance and private equity.

Sam Linz: Non-Executive Director

After qualifying in 1962 as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa, Sam started his own accounting practice. He subsequently went into business and founded Rebel Discount Liquor Stores which grew to a company comprising around 75 liquor stores and a dozen hotels.

In 1980, Sam immigrated to Australia and sold his liquor interests to Gilbeys South Africa (today part of the Diageo Group), of which Sam was a Director at the time. After arriving in Australia, Sam co-founded Barbeques Galore and Rebel Sports. Both companies were eventually publicly listed. Sam sold his interests in Rebel in 1997 and Barbeques Galore in 2005.

Sam now invests in various companies and is represented on a number of their boards.
